Maker tools for real 3D printing workflows

MakerTools3D is a collection of focused tools for makers, designers and 3D printing users. The first tool converts PNG and JPG images into multicolor 3MF files that can be opened in slicers such as OrcaSlicer and Bambu Studio.

The goal is to keep the workflow direct: upload an image, control colors and dimensions, preview the model, then export a printable 3MF for logos, signs, keychains, plates and badges.

The site now also includes tools for applying a color image to an existing STL or 3MF model, converting images into heightmap reliefs, creating lithophanes and vectorizing PNG/JPEG artwork into SVG files for slicer modifier workflows.

MakerTools3D is intentionally practical rather than generic. Each tool exposes settings that matter for actual printing: final millimeters, mm per pixel, material depth, transparent cutouts, limited filament palettes, slicer preview checks and output formats that preserve the information needed by OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio and similar software.
